The Original Santa Fe Sticks

Santa Fe Sticks are hand-crafted exotic hardwood walking sticks and canes, custom-built for discerning men and women who want the highest quality tools for support and self-defense. Made from the world's rarest and strongest exotic woods by two enthusiasts in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Life grows ever more dangerous, while our population is aging. Santa Fe Sticks help you through in grand style. Predatory automated sliding doors that aggress the slow-moving are easily blocked by our powerful brass and stainless steel tips, and the ultra-strong shafts of our dense exotic hardwood sticks can withstand massive blows, if necessary. In addition, you may depend on the comfortable, carefully crafted knobs and caps that we install to your specifications. Each Santa Fe Stick is sanded and sealed at least five times, then twice waxed and buffed to achieve a lasting satin-smooth finish, at once protective and lovely to behold. Supportive, reliable and beautiful, a Santa Fe Stick is a lifetime companion, a combination tool, weapon and fashion accessory that will richly complement your personal style.

I just returned from a long walk on the streets of Copenhagen accompanied by my new Santa Fe Stick. Its beautiful cocobolo body and the thoroughly superb craftsmanship discreetly accentuate my flâneurish tendencies and it will undoubtedly remain a trusted companion on walks throughout the world in many years to come.

...it would have been a generally bad day had I not received your incredible handiwork. Simply holding it, cheered me greatly. For the first time, I truly understood precisely what Theodore Roosevelt meant when he said, "Talk softly and carry a big stick." I can already tell that walking with this beautiful cane will help imbue me with that kind of confidence. (The gradation in the circumference of the shaft, by the way, is wonderful.) The wood is beautifully expressed, the brass fittings are exquisite. And the combination feels like a sturdy, reliable friend to the hand. I cannot wait to use it and am selfishly glad that so few people have the wisdom to go with Zebra Wood. The cane is truly unique, and I simply love it. You are clearly a master craftsman, and I look forward to expressing my gratitude more fully when we speak.

I used to race motorcycles and after breaking many bones, including my back, sometimes I have a real hard time getting around. Using a cane on and off for the past 7 years, I thought it would be nice to get a new one.

One day I was browsing on the computer and came across Santa Fe Sticks. Not knowing what to expect, I received one of the most amazing canes I have ever seen. The quality is out of this world. Everywhere I go people ask me what kind of wood is it. Dalmatian ebony, I tell them. They’ve they never seen anything like it. Neither have I. What a great find...lucky me.

O'Farrell Santa Fe, located directly across from the world-famous La Fonda Hotel, custom makes fur felt hats for ladies and gentlemen of discerning taste. Cowboy hats are a specialty, but O'Farrell will make any style to satisfy a client's request. Fedoras, town and country trilbies, homburgs, ranchers, and gamblers are among the many elegant hats available through the shop. All work is done on the premises, by hand. And the felt itself is the best available anywhere in the world--there are two levels of fur felt, one mostly beaver, the other 100% beaver; prices start at $750 (USD), a reasonable tariff for lasting beauty and dependability. The O'Farrell hat is distinguished by the quality of hand work that goes into its construction: carefully fashioned sweatbands are stitched for a lifetime of comfortable wear; the felt is sculpted with loving attention to every detail of fit and style measurement; the shape of the crown and brim are customized to each client's exact specifications. And the fit itself is guaranteed by the novel--and wonderfully old-fashioned--use of a century-old machine that first moulds to the intended wearer's head and then creates a paper pattern that replicates the shape of his or her skull, which is both revelatory and amusing. The O'Farrell hat will last through generations of wear, which makes it a true value acquisition to serve faithfully and reliably. When you purchase an O'Farrell hat, you invest in the best!
